Tuesday 7th June saw our Chairman, Andrew Watson, membership secretary Richard Nall and myself attend a very well attended meeting of the Keighley and District Model Aircraft Club. The evening was mainly take up with a very informative talk by the BMFA on a number of topics including insurance whith was, I promise, an eye opener. KADMAC are not as yet affiliated to the BMFA but will be balloting its members to decide if they should become affiliated. Good luck to them in their deliberations. During the eveings raffle tickets were sold for some nice prizes that ranged from a pair of scissors to a complete aerobatic model c/w radio gear !!. Done in aid of one of their club members trying to raise funds to help him attend a pylon racing event in Australia. Both Andrew and Richard scooped prizes the pinacle of which was a Rascal balsa kit, (very nice), won by Andrew. Not sure how he's going to get that one past the wife though. In all just over £500 was raise so a very worth while event and an enjoyable evening.
